On Sunday 8th January, The Akshaya Patra Foundation UK team had a fantastic day championing Food For Education at the spectacular 2017 Aashni + Co. Wedding Show held at The Dorchester Hotel in London.

As the official charity partner for the event, we were excited to have the opportunity to meet hundreds of guests, chat with them about our work eradicating classroom hunger in India and invite them to strike a pose to raise awareness for #FoodForEducation! We were delighted that so many people chose to get involved, including Aashni herself, as well as several renowned bridalwear designers whose collections were featured on the day.

Thank you to everyone we met who generously gave their time, lent us an ear and gave a gift to help us expand our Food For Education Programme to reach 5 million children in India with life changing school lunches by 2020.
