I have created this fundraiser on behalf of the Boston Indian Community with Akshaya Patra for donating food to poor families during the lockdown. Many people are affected with this lockdown so much so that they don't have food to eat. Akshaya Patra is providing cooked meals and grocery kits through its COVID relief services.
Let's support them through this campaign and DONATE for food to the needy. I have chosen Akshaya Patra for this campaign as they have a trusted infrastructure that has already delivered over 3.3 BILLION meals for children in India as part of their mid-day school meal program. Due to this scale (including cooking and transport infrastructure), they are able to deliver food and grocery kits at very low costs and that increases the number of people served for the same money. They can deliver a grocery kit to feed an adult for a MONTH for just £8 of your donation during the current COVID crisis.
