Your contribution transforms lives
Millions of people across the globe suffer from food insecurity. With your support we can expand our reach to impact more people every day.
By assisting beneficiaries with access to healthy and nutritious food we alleviate financial pressure and enable the individual to focus upon and invest in their future, which would in turn allow them to exit the poverty cycle.
I sincerely thank Akshaya Patra for the tasty meal that came every day without fail ... I can imagine how much more difficult it would have been for me otherwise

Fani, a severe category 4 cyclone hit eastern India on 3 May 2019 leaving the state of Odisha in disrepair. High-velocity winds at a speed of 175 kmph coupled with heavy rainfall created havoc in the region. An estimated 1.2 million people were evacuated from the coastal areas in Odisha.
The destructive power of cyclone Fani was witnessed first hand by TAPF’s Puri kitchen. The centralised kitchen that serves nutritious school meals every day to 46,904 children studying across 598 Government schools within the State has been left with significant infrastructural damage.
Now, it’s time to rebuild and recover from all the destruction.
TAPF looks forward to making the Puri kitchen operational at the earliest so that it can resume providing the much-needed free school lunches to children.
